Think about the load you want to hand over

COMFEE lists the CDC22P2AWW with six place settings, a faucet connection and eight programs. It belongs in a different comparison from its smaller tank model. Start here if your priority is handling a recurring tableware load and you have space for a wider countertop appliance.

Six place settings is a standardized-style capacity description, not a promise that six people’s cookware and dishes fit together. Look at your own bowls, mugs and pans. Our plate-size and loading guide explains how to turn a capacity label into useful questions.

What the feature list does—and does not—tell you

The manufacturer lists a 45-minute Speed program and an extra-drying option. These give you different routines to evaluate; they do not establish that a short program will handle every load or that all materials will leave completely dry. We have not physically tested this machine.

If your main frustration is evening cleanup, think about when you would load and unload. A longer program may be perfectly acceptable while you do something else. If you need the same items again immediately, program choice and the amount of unloading work deserve more attention.

Resolve the footprint before buying

Published depth figures differ. The brand listing gives 20.6 inches within its dimension set; the Amazon listing includes a 500 mm depth figure. We have not treated these as equivalent or added this model to the fit checker.

For a close-fitting location, get the current US installation drawing and establish which measurement includes protruding parts. Check hose space and door access separately. A retailer’s statement that an appliance fits a cupboard is not a substitute for its permitted installation requirements.

Compare it with the right alternatives

The Danby DDW631SDB is the relevant faucet-fed comparison already covered in our guides. The COMFEE CDC17P2AWW is the tank model; do not assume a recommendation for one applies to the other.

Shortlist the CDC22 if the larger capacity category appeals to you and faucet setup is workable. Pause if you must keep the supply tap free or cannot resolve a tight-space measurement. Use our faucet checklist before buying fittings.

What the manual adds to the buying decision

The manual linked from the brand’s page covers CDC22P2AWW on its cover. Its printed page 19 drawing gives 17¼ inches high, 21⅝ wide and 19 11/16 deep, with 32 inches shown with the door open. That depth differs from the brand page’s 20.6-inch figure. The discrepancy therefore exists between official sources, not just a marketplace listing.

For a tight counter, resolve which drawing applies to the exact unit you will receive. Keep the hose route and loading path separate from the closed-body rectangle. We still exclude this model from automatic fit results.

Shortlist it if a faucet-fed six-place-setting design matches your routine and you can confirm the installation space. Keep looking if tank filling is essential or the space depends on choosing the smaller conflicting depth.
