What makes this model worth comparing?

COMFEE identifies the CDC17P2AWW as its 6-liter tank countertop model. It supports tank filling or a faucet supply, and includes an automatic door-opening drying feature on supported programs. Those are useful differences to investigate if you want an alternative to the HAVA R01.

We have not tested either machine’s cleaning or drying. Our recommendation is to compare their routines, not assume that an additional feature guarantees a better result. A door that opens automatically is also a reason to think about where the appliance will sit.

Check the model code, not the program count

Retail headings can combine wash programs with additional functions. The manual’s control guide distinguishes Normal, Baby Care, Glass, Rapid and Fruit programs from Auto Open and UV options. Read what a function actually does before treating a bigger number on the listing as more useful choices.

The tank holds 6 liters. That is a reservoir specification, not a measurement of how much water you personally save. Your filling routine and chosen program still matter. Its manual also states that this model does not support rinse aid—do not add it simply because another dishwasher uses it.

A dimension discrepancy needs attention

Do not order for a tight space from our checker. The brand listing and its linked manual show slightly different dimensions for this model. Both published height figures exceed 18 inches. We have not added it to the numerical fit checker while that discrepancy remains unresolved.

If your space is generous, the discrepancy may not change your shortlist. If your available space is close, ask for the current US version’s installation drawing and confirm the exact item being sold. Allow for filling access and the open door as well as the closed body.

Who should shortlist it?

Consider it if manual tank filling suits you and you want to examine an auto-open option. Keep looking if your hard limit is an 18-inch opening, or if an opening door would interfere with your workspace. Our water-setup guide helps separate these priorities.

Compare it with the HAVA R01 research review, then inspect the current seller and model code. The separate CDC22P2AWW has a different capacity and supply arrangement; it is covered in its own review.

When the auto-open option is worth considering

Think about your actual wash routine. If you usually run the Normal program and prefer a door that opens as part of drying, this feature may matter. If you mainly plan short washes, check the permitted programs before paying for a feature you would rarely use.

The manual’s control guide (printed page 9) limits Auto Open to Normal, Baby Care and Glass. Rapid is described as a program for lightly soiled items that do not need drying. An auto-open headline should not be read as a promise about every wash.

Shortlist it for tank filling and that specific auto-open routine. Pause for a close-fitting spot or a workspace where the door opening would get in the way.

What the conflicting dimensions actually say

The product page lists 17.24 × 16.5 × 18.43 inches. The manual’s technical drawing (printed page 31) includes an 18 5/16-inch height. We retain both sources; a difference this small can still matter beside a hard obstruction. Neither supports an 18-inch-high opening.

Compare it directly with the HAVA R01 before treating an extra function as an automatic upgrade. If you want a wider faucet-fed machine instead, compare the Danby and COMFEE CDC22 models.
